nihilism is bullshit

the problem is i don’t matter

so i deaden the pain

with philosophy

that it’s not just me

nothing could, can or will matter

comfort from words

ideals and a pint of beer

 

if you are relevant

from arms around you

or the adoration of others

you would not be a nihilist

because you matter

 

can i get an amen from the choir

and make the first verse the chorus

sing it again and again

 

call everything sin

that doesn’t make me matter

 

it’s all just words, ideals

and a gathering of birds

and i get the select choice

of the road kill

because i’m alpha

 

nihilism sounds like socialism

everyone gets their fair share?

which is nothing

 

but this is not my point

as always i digress

nihilism doesn’t exist

only loneliness

which is why some of us

are fucking nihilist

the rest i can’t even guess

why they would believe

such bullshit
