on my best duds
went
to a club
danced
can’t
dance as well as the others
had
a few at the bar
before
i could travel as far
as
a dance floor
but
once there
didn’t
care
just
danced
for
hours
the
only other thing i did
was
sweat
dance
floors are always hot
that’s
all i have to say
it
all went away
stopped
for a double shot
but
then the dj played
the
bad touch by bloodhound gang
and
i rearranged my scenery
from
stool to hardwood floor
sometimes
i danced alone
sometimes
a woman danced facing me
sometimes
a man
and
i just danced
wrote
this while walking home
where
night stand near
i
am stripped of more
than
sweat stained clothes
fall
into bed
