rough
and tumble, bed frame rumbles
across
sheeted plains we stumble
beauty
untamed ignites a flame
you’re
screaming out his holy name
so
roughly raked your thumbnail breaks
our
furnace kiss could bake a cake
bed
sheet abandons slotted sides
from
our violence it now hides
upon
the floor its fabric sore
from
the waging of our war
that
glistens skin, breaks the frame
the
walls dissolve at our proclaim
collapsing
casual and calm
but
still i hold you in my arms
prepared
to die amid the sigh
and
recompense of satisfied
and
in my lingering caress
i
will whisper and confess
of
how i only think of you
captivated
and imbued
with
dreams of just another kiss
the
world could end amid such bliss
