the
kiss of longing lingers near
with
poems i whisper in your ear
my
hand upon your supple breast
folds
the fabric of your dress
my
kiss conforms unto your cheek
but
still your lips are what i seek
and
bring my hand up to your chin
and
guide you until you’re within
the
place where our lips can align
for
all night long i have designed
the
moment when i steal a kiss
that
moment now has come to this
a
gentle kiss becomes our first
but
in the aching of my thirst
i
slide my hand behind your head
applying
pressure till you’re lead
into
a passion in release
as
if this kiss will never cease
my
tongue invades without protest
my
hand returns onto your breast
our
kiss consumes the universe
and
is reborn within this verse
cleansing
fire of desire
nothing
else could quite inspire
the
poetry that i now brew
about
this kiss i share with you
though
it’s leading to more than this
nothing
will be quite like your kiss
