(in
black ink my love may still shine bright – shakespeare)
reciting
shakespearian sonnets
wearing
what one wears within waves
the
clouds cover like white bonnets
and
from the april heat we’re saved
steadied
from interlaced fingers
while
waves try to wash us ashore
this
mesmerized moment lingers
wherein
with kisses i adore
you
splash me with your silken hand
then
playfully push me away
i
chase you back onto dry sand
you
let me catch you in our play
pull
me down unto the towel
your
hands behind my sea soaked hair
where
we are verbs without vowels
within
another kiss we share
whatever
makes poems a sonnet
forgotten
under april clouds
bikini
with my hand on it
i
wish the waves could wash the crowd
far
from the shore so we can be
unbridled
in intimacy
